Hardware Technology

Camelot provides barcode scanning capabilities to 3PL warehousing using software integration modules that connect mobile scanning devices to Camelot's warehouse management solutions. We do not provide the scanning hardware, wearables and printer. However we work with several hardware technology providers that can assist you with purchasing the correct hardware for your needs.

Camelot has three scanning technologies depending on the requirements of the warehouse. The hardware varies for each mobile scanning type. Below are several recommended hardware devices for each scanning / hardware solution.
System Requirements
  • MobileLink requires an Android OS, plus a modern Internet browser and persistent internet connection. Example: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
  • WIMS requires an installed application that supports VT100 terminal emulation. Example: Velocity by Ivanti or SmartTE by Staylinked
